Sebastião Salgado

Today we learnt about another artist. This one actually did photography. His name is Sebastião Salgado. Learnt about him and what he did as a photographer we also got a chance to go out and take a picture of something we thought needed more attention. I enjoyed this as I too am deeply interested in photography and have been for a while. :)

Pheidippides

Under the burning sun of Marathon the Greeks were in war with the Persians. Soon the war came to an end, and the Greeks had won. The General called Pheidippides and told him to go to Athens and tell the people that  we’ve won the war.

Pheidippides set off at a quick pace, but as he got further away from Marathon he got slower. During Pheidippides journey he went over hills, rocky cliff and mountains as well Pheidippides was feeling exhausted and hungry Pheidippides never gave up and kept on going, even though he was dripping with sweat.


Pheidippides was exhausted and dehydrated as he arrived at Athens. Still, Pheidippides gathered all his strength and started shouting out joy we won! Then Pheidippides died because of exhaustion and dehydration

Mum Makes Mac & Cheese

In the holidays, Me and my Mum made Macaroni  and Cheese with Mince. But before we could get started we had to gather the ingredients. We got most of them from Pack’n save.

Anyway, first we needed to put a pot of boiling water on the stove. After that we put the macaroni in the pot for 10 minutes. When it started to go soggy so, we took it off the stove.  Second, we made the mince and last of all we added the cheese.

I took the first taste and it was delicious. My big sister came and tested the food and thought it was to good be true.  Once Zaria came along and she tried it  ’’yummy’’ said Zaria.

Hi my name is Zaeeda. I have Two sisters their name's are Alisha and Zaria. I have a mum and dad. me and my sister my sister go to the same school. My best friends are Jedida , Aliyah and Thazin. We are in year for at  Pt England. At school me and my friends like playing tag  and playing at the senior park. my favorite color is purple. I like chocolate ice-cream. I have two pet budgies a dog and 4 fish.
