A late Morning
Walt:write using descriptive language.
It was a cold morning, and the streets of Chicago were quiet. No one had ventured out of their homes. Everyone was still in bed. Except for Mr Goodwin. He was late. Late for his conference!
As he ran down the street he dropped his cappuccino and it fell splat on the pavement outside his hotel. He picked up the cup and looked inside the almost empty cup was still wet and now growing cold. He said to himself “I am so late” as he threw it into the trash. He then tried to signal a taxi but it was so busy that whenever he put his hand out it would nearly hit with the top of a car. He decided to give up. Mr Goodwin Miserably started towards the conference. He walked at a decent pace as he looked around, “I need another cup of coffee” he said to himself.
He walked until his curious mind brought him to a nearby alley he stood on the pavement looking at all the trash and graffiti on the walls he was about to keep walking when a slim cat with only on eye and no tail she was rubbing herself on his leg. He kicked it away hoping it would but instead, it backfired a whole lot of alley cat started Meowing and purring it was like a cat orchestra. Just as Mr Goodwin started to back away they pronounced which made Mr Goodwin high tail out of there.
Mr Goodwin had just disoriented them he was standing right outside the office for his conference. He had just arrived when he saw Mr Burt and Mr Jacobson walking out of the office chatting away taking small sips from there steaming hot coffee.” NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” Mr Goodwin yelled at the sky falling to his knees before he fainted. “What’s up with him” Mr Burt asked affectionately.
They caught a cab back to the hotel and they waited for Mr Goodwin to wake up they waited all afternoon and all night when finally Mr Jacobson got a brilliant Idea as always “ Maybe the sent of coffee would wake him up’’ Mr Jacobson said to Mr Burt “ It’s worth a try” he replied back. They waved a cup of coffee under Mr Goodwin’s nose “wh wha where am I” he stuttered waking up deliberately. Instantaneously Mr Goodwin stood up the conference I am late he grabbed his bag and rushed out the door with Mr Burt and Mr Jacobson not far behind him.
“STOP STOP” Mr Jacobson and Mr Burt said together stopping Mr Goodwin dead in his tracks, “let’s go back to the hotel and we can tell you both about it” they said again Mr Goodwin with a blunt expression. Back at the hotel they sat Mr Goodwin down with a cup of coffee and asked him how his day was which was pretty terrible, then they told him that the conference was not today it was tomorrow. Mr Goodwin Stared at them wide eyed discombobulated and Astonished, he then started to chuckle it go louder and louder and then Mr Burt and Mr Jacobson joined in.
So that is one of the many adventures Mr Goodwin, Mr Jacobson and Mr Burt had in chicago

Task Description: Mr Goodwin is in chicago so we are writing about some kind of realistic adventure about him and he has already written the beginning. This was a fun task and very funny so I hope you enjoy reading this and have a laugh because I made it as funny as I could.

Task Descripiton: This week Mr Goodwin is in Chicago so all our work it based on Chicago and America. Here is our Maths we had two presentations and each of them had four qeustions. How do you score/ win: you make your customer happy and earn tips
Difficulty: 5/10
Fun: 9/10
Description: This game is familiar to papa’s pizzeria ,cupcakeria ,freezeria, bakeria, donuteria, burgeria and pancakeria, they are all from papa’s. I think that this is a great game to learn how to cook and make sandwiches.
Why I like this Game
I like this game because we it is like owning a digital workshop. I that you had to make sandwiches which are one of my favourite foods. I liked that this game had a small time limit that allows you to stay on track and keeps you busy.
Improvements
Even though I like this game I think that time you had to wait in the beginning was really long so I would not mind if you could make it shorter. I also think that you should make the game a little bit harder.
Recommendations
I would recommend this to people who loved to cook and also a few of my friends.
Task Description: We played a game and also wrote a reveiw. This reveiw included what we like the about the game what we would improve in the game and also who we would recommend this game to. It was fun espacially the part that we get to play the game !

My Matariki
Walt: to structure a recount.
How was your Matariki day? I had the most spectacular Matariki day, it was full of surprises and adventure. It was AWESOME!
I was in M.K.R My Kai Rules. In my group I had Hope and Nevayah, I also made a new friend she was a year five and her name is Bella. For the day my group was going to do Baking and cooking. It was going to be a great day, I could feel it.
The first thing we did was washing our hands, we then talked about the pleiades the Matariki Star Cluster. after that we started to make our first dish we were going to make FRUIT KEBABS. We started off by coring our apples peeling the kiwi fruit and separating our grapes. We then got our kebab stick and we were super tempted to taste the marshmallow but we held back. We then all came together with our dishes and then we presented them and boy were they good Yum!
Soon it was morning tea time which was a great time to get some fresh air. When the bell rang we gathered back in the staff room and then got back to cooking first we talked about matariki we then made CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. We had a lot of fun experimenting and secretly tasting the cookie dough. We left the cookies in the oven and went to lunch, and when we came back THEY WERE DONE. We sat down around the table and said a prayer then we tasted the cookies THEY WERE DELICIOUS!
The food was great we had egg and butter sandwiches, marmite and cheese sandwiches, chocolate fudge, fruit kebabs chocolate biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. Once we finished and had made a plate full of the yummy food, we cleaned up and went to the hall. When we went to the hall we watched movies from the groups and saw the beautiful creations the other teams made. When it was our turn to show the school what we made Mr Burt said I had to talk about the food it was really fun.
I think that this was the best matariki day yet. I am really looking forward to the next matariki day. I enjoyed cooking and it is my favorite thing to do. My favorite thing we did was well was EVERYTHING! Next time I want to cook something else not that I didn’t like it I just want to cook and bake more things
