Pelican???
Once long ago, no not long ago it was actually last week. There was a relatively peaceful beach. A place for people or should I say animals like me. Hello my name is Florence, and today I will be telling you about the time I was a Flamingo.
I spent half my life in a remote lagoon, located in the depth of the amazon rainforest. I had many relatives there, my mom, dad and little sister. We lived in a small lagoon that wasn’t visited often by humans, only once or twice a year. Sometimes we’d have other animals voyage through but they weren’t any trouble either. Indubitably, I had an amazing life, but not long after that changed.
Humans emerged into the forest, with substantial sized gadgets. They pillaged and plundered all about. They cut down trees and drained out the water. The circumstances were insufferable, we soon had to make an arduous decision. This only continued, and as time went on it got worse. More trees were cut down, more family killed and more humans came.
The time came when we carried out our plan. Evening rolled around and we tacitly fled the lagoon, in search for a new home. As we fled the humans, were awoken and our plan was wholly destroyed. There was no purpose of them, to take notice yet they still panicked and came out with sharp weapons of mass destruction.
I guess it was not my lucky day because I was one of the people captured by a mere human being. Parkour was never my choice of sport anyway, some say “it’s a piece of cake”. The small excuse of a human carried me too other normal sized humans, and from there I was put in a cage. From that moment on I knew that I was never going to be free again. This was my life now, I have to get used to it.
A few weeks had passed and the humans had brought me to a diminutive sanctuary. There I met a well vitalized sloth called Joe, and Veronica a monkey with minor allergies to almost everything, but mainly bananas. Those two became my closest mates they were family, and still are to this day. Many years past and Joe and Veronica told me their stories and consulted me about mine. We learned each others strengths and weaknesses and time went by faster than we’d thought.
It had been 5 years, and I was moved from that sanctuary to another place. A place the humans I believe called a lab-ora-tory. Anyways there they would conduct all types of crazy stuff, and yes I’m called the animal here. Getting back to the point, there was a young scientist her name was Rachel. She’d take care of me and often take me out of the cage and let me sit in a room for a few hours.
One day, I overheard Rachel talking to her fellow colleague about some bird. She said that they had mistaken tests and observations and that the bird was not a sick form of flamingo but instead an entirely different species. I was taken aback by this news, I didn’t know there was more than 1 flamingo in this place. I resumed my listening and found out the name of this, certain Flamingo was Florence. Wait a minute I had thought, MY NAME IS FLORENCE, SHE’S TALKING ABOUT ME!
My mind went blank, I was having a malfunctions and a panic attack put together. I returned to my cage, with a troubled expression. What more could I do, I was helpless. Anxiously I began to form a plan whilst I was doing this I drifted too slumber.
The next day, Rachel relocated my cage to another place. This was my home for the next few day, there I was watched by a man called Chandler. He wasn’t the nicest person, but deep inside, he was just as caring. Rahcel came and checked up on me three to four times a day, and it did get quite lonely not having anyone to talk to. I’m surprised, I didn’t go insane!
I finally took flight, and I as I flew I followed an angelic female pelkin to a nearby beach. There I introduced myself and we became close acquaintances, her name was Phoebe. I met her family, and I lived there happily. I mean, I have come on after all I’ve been through. I deserved to be happy. I ended up proposing to Phoebe, and together WE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Six-sentence story
Once upon a time there lived an expert chef. She lived in a town in the large city of Tokyo. People travelled from far and wide to come and enjoy her food. Sadly the chef was surrounded by phony friends, they only liked her for her food and fame. She didn’t realise this until much later, and was disheartened. The chef fled the country and found a remote cottage in Russia, where she met a handsome woodsmen and together they lived happily ever after.

K.P.M.G
Today we had our 4th K.P.M.G Trip. As always it was to support this terms inquiry topic "Life's A Stage". We did some fun and activities and as always learnt heaps. Read on to find out more!
When we arrived at K.P.M.G it was around 10 in the morning. We then had to wait for a whilst the staff got ready. It wasn't to long of a wait and we entertained eachother in the meantime. After a couple of minutes we were greated by Justine, someone we meet everytime we visit K.P.M.G and she led us to the room we will be spending our time in. When we entered we were greated by a couple of staff members, and morning tea. There was chocolates muffins, brownies and fruit, it was all very delicous.
After grabbing a quick bite we were greeted by someone from a copany called Pop Up Globe. She, told us about William Shakespear someone you may have heard of before. The woman told us about what, when, where and why her company does what it does. We learnt that Pop Up Globe was a company that recreated shakespear plays in a recreation of a theatre shakespear made, and destroyed.
We focused on one of shakespears well known plays "Romeo and Juiliet". It was forbidden love between 2 star crossed lovers, whose death brought their families together. We had to summarise the whole story in 5 sentences and then again but each line had to have 10 syllables. This is exactly how william shakespear wrote his stories. After we all presented our groups work we played some games.
After those activites we went to lunch, and let me tell you it was delicous to. I mean common who doesn't like pizza, and salads. It was healthy but also had some yummy additions. I'm pretty sure you can tell the food that ran out first. During lunch we sat down and socialised in friendly chats and games. Time went by pretty quickly because soon after it was time for our next activity.
After lunch, were asked to stand in a line from tallest to shortest. I didn't love this part because I am one of the shortest people in extension, 5th shortest to be exact. Anways so we were put into order from tallest to shortest and then given a number between 1 and 5 we started from the tallest side. I was given the number 1. Thus meaning I was in group 1. Along with me in the group there was Bethan, Paikea, Alison and Justice the tallest person in extension. Yes I was the shortest person in my group too!
Our job was to put together a short play which was close to 3 minutes long. It didn't have to be exact, we decide to mash up 3 well known stories the title was, "Captain Drac Sparrow and the Three little Pigs". We rehearsed this and made back drops, we even had sound affects and a good ending. When is was time to present we were ready.
There were 2 groups before us and both of them were pretty good, when it came to our turn our group was quite prepared and non of us looked nervous. I was only worried about the amount of practice our groups did. When it started a few changes were made but we rolled with it and didn't think to much about it. The plot was good and there we some funny and dramatic moments. I accidently made a dramatic moment when I caught the hat Justice through in mid air, but it was only a reflex cause it was going to hit somebody so. Shhhh!
Once each group had performed we played some charades, whilst the judges confirmed the placements. Most of the answers we related to drama or our plays. But some of them were just random movies we have seen recently or are in theatres now. Pirates of the carribean was one of the most easiet ones possible. A lot of the plays were related to pirates of the carribean so it was very obvious!
After all the placements were finalised judges finally let us know our places. In each group there was the best actor, in our group it was Justice who played Captain Drax Sparrow. The winning group overall was Grama Measles. The award for the best actor overall went to Amelia and I agreed she put on and amazing show and had something for everyone!
Soon after we packed up and it was time to head back to school. I enjoyed this trip as much as I did every other time we visited and, K.P.M.G has helped us a lot throught the year in many other school wide events. THANK YOU K.P.M.G, we had a great time!

2019 Maths
This year I really enjoyed maths and learnt heaps. A few days ago we did our maths test and our result were very good. Alot of us have improved heaps and today I am telling you what I have and need to improve on.Well I have improved on my statistics and algrebra skill and the mark I go in my test shows that I did well on these, things. I did enjoyed answering these questions. We have been doing some algebra in class lately and back in term 2 we did statistics and I enjoyed doing those task and hoped we did more.
I do need to improve on my geomrty not meaning that I am terrible at it just meaning I need to work on it. I did get stuck one or to times in my test but this is just one of the things that we haven't covered in class yet. But i'm still going to try and improve on this subject.

Global Warming Is A Problem
The earth has many problems. Most of them caused by humans, but there is one problem that was beyond the homosapines reach. Global warming, a large international problem that is getting worse day by day. Global warming is a problem and that’s today's topic!
Let’s begin with one of the most obvious reasons, the children's future. Taking the children's point of view, they can’t do much except get educated on the topic of global warming. So it’s up to adults and the ‘’powerful people’’ to do something, children have no say or insurance that they will get a better future even the future that lies ahead of you, is unsure at this point!
Which leads to my second reason, it’s not just the children getting affected it’s the bigger people too. Global warming is a huge problem, in economy. This is because “powerful people” have addressed the problem by increasing prices on items that have an affect on global warming, or sources that are being eradicated due to usage. Thus leading to a large circle of endless problems, the “powerful people” need to look at the bigger picture, and think about everyone.
Lastly, the effects of global warming are happening faster and are getting much worse. So the whole world, is starting to crumble. The ozone layer being extracted, the uv light from the sun is getting hotter, etc. The world needs help and it’s up to the human race. They need to stop adding to the problem, and start taking actions and precautions, working together and making a difference.
So that concludes today’s topic. I know it’s a large problem and I have said it multiple times, and this is because what I am saying it fiction but a fact. Global warming is a large problem, and I may not have the answer to it but I do know we have to do something and fast. Global warming will continue and get worse, if you love your family and your friends should try and create a better future for EVERYONE!
