Zaeeda-SLJ- Day -#2

Today is the second day of the some learning journey and I think I have a better chance of winning this year I have worked hard on my task and I can't wait ot see what you think about it


Activty 1: Gian't among us 

I like the Idea of seeing this tree because it would be a wonderful outdoor activty and since it is endemic to New Zealand I think that we should definetly see and learn more about this tree. I think that we should resevre and look after this tree and it's enviroment. Tane Mahuta look very big and I have the eger to climd a tree like that I would also like to see the animals that live by it to

I also want to learn about things that are harming it and why it has that name. I am really curious about finding out it's past and maybe how old it is too!

Activty 2: Fabulous Ferns

The Three team I picked we the Silver ferns, Black Ferns and Kiwi Ferns.


The Silver ferns are a womens netball team. The unifomr is actually really pretty I like but I would it with more color I think that we should also incourage boys to play netball too that's what my school has down we have plenty of girls play but we should have boys play to so yeah anyways 

Black Ferns are womens rugby union team are pretty cool even though I don't watch them alot.I still like there uniform I have my own jersey so I can still Support them.

I don't watch league but my teacher is a big fan Mr Goodwin always tell us about it and I usually don't listen so yeah. I think that this team's uniform is my favourite because is different and I like the white triangle part.

So that is the end of task 2




Activty 3: Weird and Wonderful

For this task we had to do some maths and I love maths I like maths and I didn't have much trouble with this qeustion. Here is my working!
So thats the end for today and I like how today we did reading writing and maths can't wait till tommorrow!

Zaeeda - SLJ - Day #1

Hello there Dear Veiwers I am so happy you came to my blog today the first day of the some learning Journey. I am super excited and hope I can win something I have done this twice before but I didn't get 1st 2nd or 3rd so let's try this year!

Activty 1: The Legend Of New Zealand

1. New Zealand is a country it has a moari name that it's Aoteroa this mean the land of the long white cloud. When The Word is broken up it is Aotea is the name of one of the waka/Canoe that the tribe travelled to New Zealand, and roa = long. The common translation is "the land of the long white cloud". But In some traditional stories, Aotearoa was the name of the canoe of the explorer Kupe, and he named the land after it. I think that maybe we should learn more about the  names and more about the stories behind them.

2. Kiwi's are New Zealand's Native Bird does the name remind you of anything maybe a certain fruit I am talking about Kiwi fruit but these Beautiful birds are flightless birds they inhabitat bushes of New Zealand. Sadly an average 27 kiwi are killed every week that about 1,400 kiwi lost every year at this rate the entire kiwi population will be wiped out in one lifetime about a hundred years ago we had millions of kiwi roaming our world. We need to look after our wild life more!

3. New Zealand is part of the pacific rim of fire Mt Ruapehu is it's most active volcanoe it is in the middle of the North Island and I have been to this Mount before it is about and hours ride from Tuapo it is really fun on the mount you can go sking and everthing look like your cookie and cream ice-cream. Another name for Mount Ruapehu is Whakapapa. Check out my blog post about my families trip there!

Activity 3:  I have been

Leaving a postive footprint is very important. You need to think about how your email,text or post about someone could make them feel and how you would feel if you were them. If you use a picture that doesn't belong to you make sure you say who took it our painted it. You also need to make sure that you are not copying facts of websites and things like that. if you are in a in doubt about an add or something like and email and it's to good to be true is you should ask an adult. if you get something unkind and nasty you should also tell someone responsible about it. So these are my rules to keeping safe online!

Christmas Catch

Task Description: For the past few weeks I have been working on a scratch game. Here is my game and there is still some changes to be made so I am still working on it. I like making this game cause we had to really think and there were some challenges but with some help we got it going and the hard work made a fun outcome. I think that you should definetly try this and experiment and maybe you might like it but I hope you enjoy my game!

Walt: think about dialogue between characters
Task Description: This week we learn't about dialouge. A dialogue was is the conversation between to character we also had to write a script. Once we had finished writing the scripted we got a buddy and acted it out in front of the class.This was alot of fun and good practice for our pubic speaking skills. I like this task cause we got to act and it made us really think about what we wrote. I Hope Enjoy!
