Tongan language week!

Learning languages: Tongan Language Week | National Library of New ZealandThis week we are celebrating tongan language week. Tongan language week is a week in which we celebrate tongan language and culture. This is something that is quite present in our community. The theme for this term is Fake Koloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e Lotu Mo'oni. This means Enriching Aotearoa New Zealand through Prayer and Faith.

Tonga is a kingdom in the south pacific ocean. It's made up of more than 170 islands. Most of them are untouched and home to no people. Tonga's population 103,197 and the main island is called Tongatapu.
