Sharing Information (East German Childhood)

This week we read a book about something that took place, a few years ago. It was about the Berlin wall why it was put up and how the public reacted and when it was taken down. I liked this book and even more how it wasn't written like a history book but instead someone who experienced it.

For this task we had to use key information form the text. We then had to share the key information and make connections by making an information web. We also had to make a comic strip, in order to summarize what the main events in the story were.

I enjoyed reading your Information Web and Key Facts Comic Strip based on your text for the week, An East German Childhood. Can you imagine how people would react if all of a sudden the NZ government decided to put up a wall to split Auckland City into two parts? My favourite picture/bubble is with the black and white photo of the children standing in front of uniformed men saying "So many rules" - the facial expressions of the boys and girls make this comment totally appropriate! Well done!
