Activity 1: Campaigning for Conservation
Coming up with a slogan was actually harder than I thought but it was not that fact of it sounding good because I kept focusing on it rhyming it was actually to focus on what it meant my sister helped me think about it and then we figured it out!
The Slogan I came up with for the Forest and Bird New Zealand is
LISTEN TO NATURE VOICE
Activity 2: The Plastic Pledge
I think that it's not a bad idea to stop plastic bags because it means less pollution but not all plastic in the waste is plastic bags there are also plastic bottles and gladwrap and thing like that and some of the stuff is really usefull I think that we need to find a way to recycle all the plastic.
My mum thinks there is a minature problem you know how people carry around some reusable bags but you have to by them and from grocerie stores. So what if someone has $300 worth of groceries it not like there gonna go and by reusable bags for a $1.20 each from pak 'n save.
Activty 3: Restricted Acess
I think that we is not fair that tourist can't go there it kind of remind me of how they use to break of stalactites to give to the tourist in the waitomo cave but they saw that it take millions of year to grow back they stopped breaking them off and were not allowed to touch them either. anyways I think that it not fair but I also know if for a good reason and there a plenty of site so I think that we should be considerate and let the Machu Picchu get better instead of worse.
I hope you enjoyed todays post and there is only 1 more post of the summer learning journey so stay tuned and feel free to look at any of the other post from the first day!
Hi Zaeeda
ReplyDeleteMy name is Daniel and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey program. Well done on completing day 4 of the fifth week already! You're super fast. I also think that instead of banning plastic bags, we should try to recycle them. Keep up the excellent work Zaeeda - I hope to see the last day soon!
Daniel
HI Daniel
DeleteThanks for the comment I just finished posting it enjoy. I have had so much fun this summer I learnt heaps and can't wait to do it again . I also think that this summer I have thought more deeply about the activities and what we should do and also I made some really cool post.
From Zaeeda
Kia Ora Zaeeda,
ReplyDeleteYour work is amazing and I am really glad you are continuing to blog, you are awesome. I woud like to say that I loved the post about tourists no longer able to visit the one and only Machu Picchu, which would be sad for everyone who has booked the visit and how they wouldn't get a refund. If this suddenly happend to me I would be so upset and I would no longer go on adventures, cruises or even trips around the world, which would be upsetting for me.
I haven't exactly been to Machu Picchu but I would love the chance to be able to see what it actually looks like, what sort of animals live there, how big it is and how high we are from each mountain that is surrounding us. Overall I loved reading your post and I can't wait for more posts later on.
Don't forget that today will be the last and final day of posting, but great job on finishing all your posts on time Zaeeda.
Have you been to Machu Picchu?
Yours truly,
Hinerangi
Kia Ora Zaeeda,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed really your three tasks for the summer learning journey. I like how you thought through each activity Zaeeda which is one of many things that you are great at! Your third activity was very interesting because I never see anyone say that they disagree with not letting tourists through. I liked how you backed up your answer really well Zaeeda! Great job Zaeeda, Keep it up!
Cheers,
Amelia
