East German Childhood
This week we read a book about something that took place, a few years ago. It was about the Berlin wall why it was put up and how the public reacted and when it was taken down. I liked this book and even more how it wasn't written like a history book but instead someone who experienced it.
For this task we had to answer the questions then, write a book review. We also had to make and information web to share, well information, and to share key facts we had to make a comic strip. The vocabulary task was fun too, but my above all favourite was the timeline task, because it helped me understand which order things happened in.

ReplyDeleteLife in Eastern Germany during the time of Uli's childhood was harsh at times. What is one memory from her daily life that she shared in this story? I agree that it events from history are easier to understand when it is written through the eyes of someone who was actually there.
