3D Shapes!

Today in team 5 we looked at 3D shapes again. This time we looked at Pentahedron. This time we looked at prisms and even made our own ones using pipe cleaners and straws. My favourite part of the lesson was when we learnt about Euler's Theorem which is a theory that works and makes it easier to find edges of a shape by adding the faces and vertices then taking away 2 from the answer. :))

  1. Hi Zaeeda,

I'm so glad you found Euler's theorem helpful - I know it is a far quicker way at finding the number of edges in a shape. How did you find creating the shape out of straws?
