Today we did a dmic.It was a lot of fun cause we got lollies near the ending. We had to solve the question next to us, the equation was 12 divided by 4. To do this we had to cut the 12cm licorice lace into 4 equal pieces. Each licorice lace would be 3cms.After that 2 more people came along meaning that we had to cut the licorice lace into 6 equal pieces. But it had already been cut into 3cm quarters. To solve this question, I cut the 3 cm quarters into thirds so each person got 2 thirds of the quarters meaning the 6 people got 1/6 or 2/12.
